A rare aged cow's milk cheese from the Veneto region, Piave has an intense, full-bodied flavor. Named after the river that runs through the region. Piave is a product of ancient cheese-making traditions. Piave Vecchio, with a distinctively nutty flavor, is aged upto a year. It is the quintessential accompaniment to oven-baked polenta, and frequently grated on top of regional Veneto pasta dishes. This is one of our staff's favorite eating cheeses, and highly  recommended to accompany robust red wines
